Holy Cross Anglican Church announces New Direction and New Leadership
Holy Cross Anglican Church (formerly St. Edmund Episcopal Church) has reorganized as a new church plant of (ACNA) The Anglican Church of North America in the Milwaukee area. In addition to this new direction back to its historical roots and faith, the congregation also celebrates the arrival of The Venerable. Patrick W. Malone, OSB, as its new Vicar/ Pastor. Fr. Malone has over 25 years of ministerial experience and states that he is excited to see what the future holds.
“I am blessed to be in a fellowship that honors the historical church and its adherence to the infallible truth of scripture,” stated Rev. Malone. “Our new name reflects our message, that God demonstrated his love for us through his Son’s sacrifice on the cross. Our commitment therefore is to answer the questions of “who Jesus is, why he came and what it means to be one of his followers.”
The church will immediately resume its previous ministry outreach to friends and neighbors in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Brookfield and Elm Grove areas.
Holy Cross Anglican Church worships in the St Mark’s Lutheran Church at 8:45am Sunday mornings.
